The expansion of SA 8000 is “Social Accountability 8000”. This standard ensures the compliance with ethical rules in production of goods and services. It is the registered trademark of SA 8000 Social Accountability International. SA 8000 may be implemented to any enterprise of any size in any industrial branch in every part of the world.

 

The requirements of SA 8000 are the reciprocal agreement standard determining the minimum SA 8000 requirements and containing the definitions in the areas specified below:

3. Health and safety
4. Freedom to form union and make collective bargaining
5. Discrimination
6. Disciplinary actions
7. Working hours
8. Indemnity 
9. Management systems
